Adam Lambert Says He Was 'Really Overwhelmed' by American Idol Fame



Adam Lambert's profession observed fame after American Idol, but he these days admitted that immediate notoriety became bittersweet.


“I became truly beaten inside the very beginning. American Idol turned into so speedy,” Lambert, 37, stated in a candid interview for Billboards Pride Round Table discussion with Big Freedia, Tegan Quin, ILoveMakonnen and Hayley Kiyoko.

In March, the Grammy-nominated singer — who is preparing his fourth studio album — showed he's in arelationship with version Javi Costa Polo.

“LUV U,” the "Feel Something"singer, 37, captioned the pictures of the couple.

“I love you,” Polo commented at the post.


This marked the first public dating for Lambert for the reason that splitting with ex-boyfriend Sauli Koskinen in 2013. Last summer, he informed his busy excursion schedule has hindered his love lifestyles inside the past.

“I haven’t been in a dating for about five years. I’ve been operating and visiting pretty a piece so dating is brief and temporary,” he said in June 2018. “I’m a multi-dater for now.
