Jeremy Clarkson confirms The Grand Tour: Madagascar Special
Jeremy Clarkson is begging fans to stop asking when the next episode of The Grand Tour is coming, but did confirm the Madagascar Special is in the bag. The Grand Tour season four sees Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May set off on a series of epic road trips for a collection of 90 minute standalone specials. Back in December, we winced as the boys almost got killed at sea in The Grand Tour Presents… Seamen, when they ditched the cars for boats to sail along the Mekong Delta in the eye of a storm.
Thankfully, before the coronavirus lockdown the trio managed to film one more adventure but we’ve been impatiently waiting for months.
However, if you want answers, stop looking at Clarkson and co. When The Grand Tour presenters reunited for a special charity quiz earlier this month, Clarkon told fans: ‘If you want to know when The Grand Tour is out, we don’t know, Amazon Prime know.
‘It’s finished, it’s filmed, it’s edited, it’s graded, it’s ready to go and it’s up to them when they put it out so stop asking us.’ ‘We’re looking forward to seeing it as much as you are,’ he continued. ’It was b****y good fun to make in Madagascar, which is one hell of a place and we think we made a hell of a story.’ Back in November, disaster struck while filming in Madagascar.
Thankfully, the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? presenter live-tweeted throughout the ordeal the gang got stranded 500 miles away from their entire crew. And it sounds like we’ll be able to watch it all unfold on The Grand Tour soon.
